I had the frame brackets rip off of my 99 tj. The frame was rusted behind and I got new steel welded in. Just wondered if anyone new where the brackets should be welded? I am thinking measurments on frame, from axle to frame, etc. Just want it to be right. Thanks for replies!

yes...
section 13 of the TJ factory service manual does have a frame dimensions chart... section 2 shows the rear suspension..
neither show the DETAIL you need to get the bracket installed unless you match the other side..
some frame parts/sections are available individually...
were both sides ripped out... you should be able to measure one side and flip the dimensions to match it to the other side..
the rear upper control arm frame bracket is available from jeep... there is a wide price between left and right for some reason...
if the brackets are off.. it can cause the rear end to NOT be squarely installed in the jeep.

Awesome, I will stop at the jeep dealer today. Yeah, first one side then the next. The PO had ripped them off before we bought, they re-welded and did a shabby job.
