added a up graded alternator in the fsj, removed the 63 amp and installed a 21si( i think) 140amp gm alternator and exsternal voltage regulator under dash. eliminated stock ampmeter fire starter and added new volt meter . alternator works great but belt squeels when its started. from the alternator draw when it first starts to charge. it had a serpintine belt pulley on it and i changed my old v-belt one to it . looking to add a dual belt pulley and change the water pump pulley so i can run that set up.think a pulley off a engine with a\c would work. can find any setups in junk yards yet. wondering if that would work? any ideas

i installed they pulleys and they line up and work fine . only issue was the alternator mounting/spacer . the 86 grand wagoneer bolt holes in head are a 3/8 bolt and the 79 360ci has a 7/16 bolt thread , had to get longer bolt and drill out hole in alternator and the spacer colar .
