transplant or repaint?

After reading everything it sounds like I should trade my 99 wrangler 4 cyl instead of swapping in a 6cyl. Only thing is I can't find one the same color. Mine is amethyst...which seems to be a rare color to find.....and plain and simple...I like it. So is it better to swap or buy and then repaint?

I'd buy and repaint, but that's just me. Personally I'd find a white six cylinder and mix up a custom color that's close to the one you like. Add a little metal flake or a touch of pearl. Make it your own! Good luck
