I have recently purchased a 1988 Jeep Cherokee pioneer and it has oil leaking out from the breather hose the pcv valve and the oil fill cap. Does anyone know what the oil would be pressured out of the top of the motor and if it helps the emission maintenance light is on. thank you for your time, Steve

Hey Steve try checking your vacuum lines and see if they are clogged. I had the same problem. I flushed them with WD40 and that cured it.

also get a compression test if that does not work excessive oil pressure is usually a sign of needing new rings in the engine
