Spare Tire Holster Needed

I have a 1981 Jeep Scrambler and would like to mount my 37 inch spare tire in the bed of the box. I would like to mount it flush to the floor where the tire would actually rest on its side maximizing my field of vision. I do not want it hang way off the back bumper because it would drag over everything (Scrambler overhang) and will not be able to see a thing backing up. I also do not want to mount it in the box standing "tread up" because again I will have to look at it while backing. Does anyone know of a brand or manufacturer that would have something that fits this description. It needs to be strong and not let the tire loosen up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you could find an old CJ spare tire holder (like the one on the back of my CJ) in the Junk Yard and bolt it to the bed and the spare to it.

That's a good idea but I just want a clean install with no cutting and hacking. Thank you for the idea. Does anyone know of manufacturer that would have something that fits my original description? Thanks everyone.

FYI, I take my spare carrier off occasionally and there would is no cutting or hacking only 4 bolts to remove the CJ spare carrier, and only 4 holes to drill in the bed. All you might have to do his a little spray paint.
The 1st website show one similar to the original that I have on my CJ, The 2nd one is nice but expensive. Good Luck

Tire A / T can be used for all terrain. On the asphalt, just to still be mild off road, dirt road with a hard profile, gravel and muddy and a bit muddy or grass field, still could. But not for use in mud in the heavy category.

Use ORI PN ORI-356000. It's a flat mount spare tire holder. Only have to drill 3 holes. You can find 'em HERE AT KARTEK. I made my own mount using a large nut welded to a plate, a large bolt, and the urethane ORI wedge. You can read about it in THIS story.
Mine looks like this:

I also found that Edelbrock offers a set of offroad jets & needles for their model 1406. The tech support people said these replacements parts will solve any off camber stalling. The cost is a pittance @ $12.95 + shipping. Now this is a lot cheaper than the cost of a Holley Truck Avenger @ approx $395.00.
So this will definitely work great "in mud in the heavy category".
