Does anyone know the total capacity of R134a for a 2003 Wrangler with 4.0?I know it is posted on a decal on top of the radiator,but mine is messed up and halfway torn off.I have been trying to charge mine,am up to 2 cans of refrigerant,and the compressor is still cycling on and off.I know this is a sign of low refrigerant,but I don't want to overcharge it.Before I put a third can in,I would like to know how much factory specs state.Thanks!

the low pressure side should read from 25-35 psi regaurdless of how much it says it takes... which could be more or less than specified, make sure the high side isn't over about 250 or less than roughly 125psi.
if it's loosing it's charge you should inject some dye in as well after you get it charged to make finding the leak easy to see. Napa has an aerosol can for about 12 bucks that has about 5 shots worth of dye in it with no need to vacuum the system and remove a line to get it in.

ok,I already tried the dye,but can't find obvious leak.It works fine for a little while,then leaks down.I am not having any luck,looks like I will have to go somewhere and pay dearly soon!
