No Rear Travel?

I have a 91 Wrangler and recently swapped in a NP435 mated to an NP205 T-Case, from a 79' Bronco.  The thing is freakin' bullet proof and i love the Low gearing it provides in 1st.  The problem i have is with this setup, i have no rear wheel travel!! I am using a Super Dana 35 Kit ( upgraded axles, Detroit locker, 4:88's). I have a CV style Drive shaft to help fix the steep angle it is currenlty making,(Came with the Bronco i got it from) had it shortened to fit, but due to the angle it only drops a few inches before it bottoms out the drive shaft which completely limits my wheel travel in the rear.  I have oversized shocks installed on the rear so they are not limiting travel, and the leaf springs have a ton of flex available.  The Front of the Jeep gets about 15 Inches of travel and works flawlessly but doesnt articulate much in the rear. What am i doing wrong?

After speaking with some folks around town their suggestion was to somehow fix the Drive line angle which will provide me the Drop im looking for.  Being new to the fabrication and engineering game, I just don't know how to do this.  I called Advanced adapters and they dont sell a divorce kit for the t-case.  Their recommendation was to go with a high pinion Diff, or trash the whole setup and put my stock AX-15 back in.

Any Advice on how to overcome this?

That's a huge tranny and a monster T-case. I'm actually a little surprised it works at all with the factory wheelbase. Your options are: Lengthen the wheelbase, try a hi-pinion rear axle (although I don't think this will fix it completely), or yank all those heavy-duty parts and put something smaller in place. Maybe keep the tranny but mate it to your original T-case.

Lift the motor mounts and drop the skid plate an inch. It won't gain you much but it might be enough. Your over sized shocks depending how they are mounted might be limiting your upward travel. I have a stock 97 TJ that I put 2" coil spacers over the rear springs. I was amazed how close to maxed out the suspenson is in stock form. While on the lift I un hooked the shocks and the rear axle only came down an additional 2" before the rear panhard bar maxed out. I was going to put on longer shocks but quickly realized that the compressed length of the shocks were going to limit upward travel and there wasn't much to gain in downward travel due to the panhard bar so I put the spacers in any way and left on the factory shocks. I lost 2" of upward travel but gained 2" of static ride height. As short as the factory drive shafts are I can only immagine how limited yours must be. How long is the drive shaft on your rig yoke to yoke?
