76 cj7 dana 30 brake conversion

i have seen articles about brake conversions(drum to disc)for dana 25,27 and 44, but not for dana 30(76 cj7)is there a way to do the 30 like the other dana 25,27,44.i would appreciate some help, thanks lucas

All of the '76-'86 factory disc brakes will bolt on to your Jeep. There is a difference though. the '79 and later models used a different knuckle with a built-in caliper bracket. So look for the disk brakes off of a '76-'78 CJ with six bolts that hold the locking hub in place. Grab the caliper mounting plates, wheel hubs, rotors, calipers and hardware. It all bolts onto your Jeeps knuckles. Or you can use the later stuff but you will have to swap out the knuckles too.

Yaa, what that JP guy said. I did it last summer on my 75 CJ 5. Hardest thing to come buy were the calber brackets. In the end I found two complete sides but bought new hubs and bearings, calibers and pads. I did not change anything on the master cylinder.
75 CJ-5 401 wrapped in glass, fully locked, 34 LTB's, snorkel and Warn 8274.
