4WD Mag. had a pic of a YJ & caption said it a 2.5 with a VW turbo on it. They gave no other details. Does anyone know about this? What's involved?

I don't know the article, but it sounds like your talking about Gavin Lewis's class 1 RCRocs jeep. The article was probably in 4wheel&off road considering we had Fred Williams with us on the debut trail ride after he just bought it.
2.5l turbo YJ
2nd gear, and punch it!!
