Hey guys, I just purchased my first jeep and I have a pic of what I would like to do with it but no idea of how to start. I don't have clue about lift kits, tire size, etc. and I thought someone might be able to save me alot of mistakes if they could tell me what this pic is fitted with. I have a completely stock 1996 cherokee. Any idea of how much the modifications are going to add up to? Does it involve any machine or cutting work? http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.autostyles.com/bushCT89JeepCherokeeXJ4D_10911.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.autostyles.com/ffjeep.htm&h=344&w=601&sz=63&hl=en&sig2=GlNRsikSZiJ_n1yxLaI5Nw&start=38&tbnid=2NDayBK90dfCcM:&tbnh=77&tbnw=135&ei=oldoRbbxNLb66AHXuKWlAQ&prev=/images%3Fq%3Djeep%2Bcherokee%26start%3D20%26ndsp%3D20%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26rls%3DGGLG,GGLG:2006-01,GGLG:en%26sa%3DN

these are just educated guesses, but will help give you an idea.

tires: 35x12.5x16 cost: between 600 and 1000, depending on your choice of brand

rims: 16 in. aftermarkets of your choice  cost: 275 - 5000, depending on your taste or lack thereof

lift: 5 in.  cost: 1200 - 2500, depending on brand and who installs it

fender flares: 150 + insatllation. these flares cover up the enlarged fender opening made with either a plasma torch or grinder

safari rack with spare tire holder: 180 - 500, depending on manufacturer and materials. some are made of al, and some are made of steel. if your money is long, go for a custom made rack at a reputable fab shop. you can also have them sprayed with bedliner material. this stuff is great! it won't peel, scratch, fade, or rust. if it's cheap, don't buy it. i'm having my rocker panels, custom bumpers, and floor pan sprayed for around 850.

bumper with winch mount and fairlead: 300 - 550, depending on brand + installation

electric winch: average is 100/ton. 4 tons pull = 400.oo

is any of this helpful? i wish you luck.
