ok so im looking around for a possible engine swap and did AMC or chysler ever have a TBI or EFI 304 or 360, and if Chyrsler did have that would that engin bolt to an amc bellhousing with out an adapter. its not that im tierd of the I-6 its mor ehat i want more power and effecincy, and no more stalling and anles or floding

the chysler 360 is the 5.9L, I doubt it'll bolt up. AMC never had fuel injected V8 (even the 1990 Grand Wagoneer was carburated), but plenty of aftermaket fuel injections will work for the AMCs

Try the 4.0L head swap and TBI. It'll save some weight and you won't have to mess with your exhaust system (too much) or your drivetrain.

You could adapt the GM TBI system to the AMC V8. Search the net, and I think you'll find kits. I know I've seen it done on IH V8's, so I'm sure they offer it for AMC.
