I was having a clunking in my 1993 Jeep Cherokee due to bad wheel joints, someone told me that because of the particular front axle i have, it will need to be taken apart to do the wheel joints. Has anyone heard of this? I know i didnt have to do it in my 1992 Cherokee. Thanks

Its not a bad job. I've found its easier to pull the axle with the wheel bearing, rather than pounding on a good wheel bearing getting them apart. Just be careful of the inner oil seals when you reinstall the axle. Those can be a pain to replace if you mess one up.
