I HAVE AN 03' TJ WITH A 2.4. I PUT A CAD INTAKE SYSTEM ON IT WITH NOTICABLE IMPROVMENT. I HAVE 32X11.50'S AND A 2 INCH LIFT. I WANT MORE POWER. WOULD 2.5 PARTS WORK ON 2.4 MOTORS? WHAT ABOUT SUPERCHARGERS, WHAT ALL DO I HAVE TO DO ENGINE WISE?

the 2.4 and 2.5 have virtualy nothing in common apart from being 4 cylinder engines that apeared in the wrangler. I would be surprised it anything worked.

i beilieve I have seen superchargers advertised for it. other options would be to get higher performance versions of the 2.4 that are availiable for other vehicles. like the turbo from the PT and neon. you might also go to the rice rocket sights for advice

Yeah, Groo's right, 2.5 parts will not work on a 2.4. You will have a tough time finding headers and such for 2.4's because the truth is they don't sell many to people that are looking to upgrade. However, I have noticed that some companies are starting to make manifolds and intakes for the 2.4 recently. www.4wd.com specifies which products will work for the 2.4, so check that out and good luck.

I have an '06 TJ 2.4L.  I put the JET Performance Stage 1 (doesn't require premium like the Stage 2) chip and an Air Raid intake.  Both work great.  I can pass on the highway now, and hit 70 easily while commuting.  It's no race car, but I still get 20 m.p.g. with 31s and a 2-1/2 lift, stock gears.  It rocks the house.

*I have a 2004 wrangler, that spit and sputters whn you mashdown on the gas. You have to nurse the pedal to get up to speed. The plugs look good, no problem with cat. Been to dealership ran good for a bit now I cant pass going down hill. I think about replacing Plugs, wire and coil. Then i read maby o2 sensors or possible fuel filter, dad telling maby fuel injectors, Does any one have a clue?????

i looked there, but didnt find anything.  i see lots of things like headers and exhaust for the 2.5 motor, but nothing for the 2.4 motor.  all that i know that is out there is the airaid cai, jet stage 1 and 2, and the jet v-force plus.  thats it.  no exhaust, headers, cams...nothing.  help!
