I am getting a 4.5" Rough Country lift.  My question is whether a SYE kit is necessary.  Some say it is fine w/ out it, others say they exprienced driveshaft vibrations...

If it alraedy comes with a tcase drop then no worries but if not I'd get one just to be safe.

I just put an RE 3.5" on my 01 XJ, and ended up a little over 4 inches (RE lifts run big). The 1" T-case drop did the trick for me, no significant vibes! I'd say go with the tcase drop, if you get death wobble, then get the SYE and new driveshaft.

AS...isn't "death wooble" from the steering componets?? not the drive shaft?
