Hello folks,

I am going to be in themarket for a new jeep very soon and was hoping to get some opinions from a variety of different Jeep owners.  Currently I own a 88 XJ with 162,000 miles running 33's due to rust however I need to replace it. I am trying to decide on going with another XJ, move to a ZJ or SJ (Wagoneer, Cherokee, GW) budget should be no more than $7000. I live in New England so finding a rust free SJ could be tough. If I go with another XJ I already have the lift that wassupposed to go in this one. it is OME. So the question is with a budget of 7k what would ou build? Some things to keep in mind. It will be a daily driver, off roading would consist of weekend trips hunting and fishing, camping. over old mining roads. it can't be beat to death so I won't get in trouble with the home owners association. I would prefer an automatic. tire size would need to be in the 33" range. I have two kids so a TJ/YJ/CJ are out. please help me from a real world perspective.
