Hey All
i am currently working on swapping my axles with gm 12 bolt rear and 10 bolt front. The rear end couldnt of went in any better after i moved the perches inwards, but as for the front its been a pain. the passenger side perch is not welded on but formed on the pumkins housing, how and supposed to move that in to fit the yj's small width..... im am really stumped on this one.
Thanx Alot

you might be able to machine for a slight difference. for more,I dont see a way apart from new tube(s) and shaft(s). it might be easier to move the springs to fit the axle, or get a different axle

My friend had a similar problem when installing a full size Dana 60 under the front of his scout. The driver side spring landed right on the outer arch of the pumpkin and that was after he had already relocated the spring brackets on the frame.
In his case, this is what he did. http://www.offroadrepublic.com/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album42&id=aab
In your case, since you want to move in, simply moving your perch may be the answer. Plus you may improve your stability a tiny bit. http://www.offroadrepublic.com/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album42&id=aac
Just a thought,
