Ok saw a segment on Trucks show on spike TV where they did a inline 6 fuel injection conversion and they put on a new aluminum head for 4.2l inline six . I am looking where to find a aluminum head for my project, 4.2l . Getting rid of 2bbl carb, putting on offenhouser 4 bbl manifold, carb header and all , but would like to use alum head, can anyone help?

I think hesco makes it. its very expensive you might want to try a 4.0 head if its only a mild to moderate build up

Hesco does not make the head. They sell it. I bought mine from Patriot Performance which is the retail outlet of Alabama Cylinder Head. Alabama Cylinder Head is who makes the thing. Has the initials cast right in. To use this head on a 4.2, the manifolds will need to be changed out to the HO version. Otherwise, it bolts up. I am running a 4.6L and have found that the engine warms up much faster with the new head. The aluminum does a goos job of sucking the heat away from the combustion chambers!

I saw that eppisode of trucks. The head, fuel injection, cam, header, and everything from clifford performance. Even their computer came from there. Check em out lots of hop ups.
