Gutless is not the word, this 2.5 is less than the cavity where the gut should be.  Got this 95 used w/50K miles on it.  I love it, for the most part.  I want to put a 4-6" lift on it, but thats for another day(I think).  What I am unsure of is what to go to from the 2.5?  4.0?, 4.3? or go all the way to a 350?  I don't know where to begin.  I drive this Jeep year round for everything.  I own an 01 ford supercrew, but a trucks a truck & I love my Jeep.  I use my Jeep to haul wood in the winter with a trailer that is bigger than the Jeep itself.  It gets me by the way it is, but I want more.  What would some of you do?

If you use the jeep as you do, I personally say either the 350 or the 4.0 L.  I'm no specialist or anything.  But the 350 will give you power obviously.  I like th 4.0l cause of the reliability.  A buddy of mine almost 300K miles on it.  You preference really, but I'd go with one of those.

I'd say 4.0l, 318, or 360

If I were a machine, I'd be a lot happier.
