Im new to jeeps. I'm currently looking for any 4cyl 5 speed wrangler yj or tj. I'm planning to use it mostly on loose sand and beach use(no saltwater though). Im just planning ahead to see what kind of equipment I need to save for. It will be easy driving nothing wild, but it can get a bit hairy once and awhile and I dont want to get stuck. I'm thinking really any 2.5" lift with 31"x10.5" tires. Does this setup sound ok for the beach. Thanks for any help!

Keep the rig light and it should work fine. Also add a good source of on-board air to your buildup plans. The faster the better so don't depend on cheapie part-store pumps. With air redily avaialble (not a pain to wait for or find) you'll be more likely to let some out of the tires for better floatation on the sand. Also keep a fulsize spare in case you end up popping a bead.

Thanks for the reply. I'll add that to my list. Thanks again.
