I got a 47 willys that is sprung over and I'm thinking about getting some revolver shackes but I'm wondering if they are all that they are cracked up to be?

Do any of you folks have them ?

A guy in town had a set on his YJ for a while. Off road they work great. He didn't have much good to say about them on the street will a short wheel base, because of the way they let the rear springs unload with quick steering inputs, in his words, "Spooky". Also with the extra flex, you may find the limits of your driveshafts at the wrorst time, when it pulls apart at the slip joint. If its not a driver, and sees mostly trail use, I'd go for it! They seem to take "a lot "of stress off the spring packs on the trails.

Thanks for your reply paul. It sounds like I definately need to think it through first. The jeep has a chevy 327 with a sm420, I don't know if I want it any more spooky on the road.
