I recently bought a 1997 Cherokee and it has a problem with the tranny slipping a little it is an automatic . I really need to know if anyone has swaped a newer tranny into that specific Jeep . If anyone has a great link so that I can see what the exact differences are that would work as well I really would like to install a newer tranny in it and want to make sure that it will drop right in . I put a 1999 wrangler trany into my 1994 with no problems but it was a AX-15 . anyone who might be able to help please feel free to e-mail me with your knowledge . Thanks
