I have a 1985 cherokee 2 door with a chevy 305, turbo 350 tranny, and  np207c1.  I have two problems, i need a new transfercase/tranny mount, and when i back up and turn my rear end gets very tight, im not sure whats going on, it feels like its binding up but im not sure whats wrong. can anyone help?

for the transfercase tranny mount you have a few options...the first would be to go and buy a new one from the junk yard...the second would be to purchase one from advanced adapters they make a really nice mount that comes with new grade 8 bolts and everything you need...the third option would be to buy some new bolts and alot of washers and build your own mount.  As for the rear end is there a locker in it? if there is that could be the cause of it feeling like that when backing and turned because the wheels are trying to go the same speed and the inside one is dragging.

i got it i have a limited slip rear end and the owner before me didnt put positraction additive in the lubrication so the clutches are binding up.  Im building the mount by moving the crossmember back and down and welding a steel plate in to attach the tranny mount(purchased) to the transfer case, can you think of any problems i might encounter?  thanks
