I own a Grand Cherokee 1999 model fitted with the qudratrac II transfer case, and I live in South Africa. The dealers here cant help me.

Can some-one please explain how this differs from a normal 4X4 transfer case and what are the techniques to use its advantages when you are in the rough.

I do not find a vacuum switch in the cubby hole where you can lock the centre differential and this seems to be a disadvantage.

I have been stuck on steep uneven incline where the Jeep lost traction and started to spin.
