I am getting a 99 Cherokee and want an 8" lift. Does anyone know how well it drives on the highway and what is the best lift for the money.  Any help is appreciated.

I'd bet with that much lift it's not going to drive that well on road. Do you really NEED that much lift???  

Yeah thats what I thought.  I really need it to perform decent on road because I have to drive back and forth from college.  I decided to go with a 99 G.Cherokee and I am about to start putting on a 7 inch Rockkrawler lift.  My friend has the same kit and says it drives great.  A bigger  lift is necessary for me, I live in North Carolina and the trails I usually go on have big rocks and lots of mud. thanks man

Grands are great for sure. You'll need to beef up the front axle for sure if your doing hardcore wheeling. You going for 35" tires? Seems like alot of money for a student,more power to ya.  

I just sold my TJ with 5" lift, 33's.  It didn't have enough room.  Me and my dad dad do alot of offroad fabrication work so we will eventually switch out the axles if we come across some 44's or somethin.  I'm not sure what tire size, probably 33's right now without spacers, I am not comfortable with major fender trimming. 

33's would look good on it for sure.
