I have an Idea about a tech artical for your magazine. How about putting dana 44 axles on a jeep ZJ? Is it possible?

Also the new issue of JP mag...........get rid of the ask BRE THREE!! what a load of crap!!! In the photo shes not even standing next to a jeep! And I do not buy your magazine to ask some bimbo her sign!! What the hell are you guys SMOKING!!!!!!!!!!

Did you really read what she had to say? Or were you too busy just looking at her! I'll bet "she" is just some editor guy writing that lame stuff!! I mean really do you honestly buy this mag to see jeep stuff or hope to see a bikini babe? Buy playboy or whatever if that's what you want to see.

 Anyways it's only single, lonely,desprate teen agers who like that crap. My Wife is more than enough for me and looks great to boot!

The point is this maybe just the begining to the end for this mag,If they continue down this road. It's not just me complaining,because I have read letters from others who also would like the mag not to change in this way.

Maybe they are thinking about doing this mag like the TAILGATE sport truckin mag, where some months there are more pages of bikini's then trucks !! LOL

I'm with watson on this one.  It's one page.  Flip past it.  There are always going to be complaints.  If they leave people will complain.  If they take it out people will complain.  No matter what JP does, people will complain.  This might suprise some folks, but JP is not trying to draw readership from only one demographic, but rather multiple demographics.  Many of which think hot chicks and jeeps go together so JP gives them thier one page and the remaining 70 or so go to your demographic.  Like watson said, it's one page. Flip.  

I agree.  I would prefer that that page page be used to show how to fix something on my Wagoneer but that's not going to happen.  If you don't like what's on a page you don't have to read it.  Just my opinion, not trying to disrespect anyone.  

Poor Bree.  I'm impressed at all the "straight" guys that have bitched about a bikini parked on an old truck.  She even seemed to know a little something about Jeeps (more than how to check the oil).

Pick up just about any vehicle mag anywhere, and you will find chicks in bikinis in them.  This tells me that hot chicks in bikinis don't just go good with Jeeps.  Hell- they go good with anything.

Honestly guys i think they did that for shi*s and giggles it seems they always include a letter of some complainer complaining that an advertiser has a chick pushing their products in the mag. I am guessing it is a low percentage so their just poking at a small minority to wind them up.

i don't think it's a smart thing to do i was a business marketing major and it probably falls pretty close to bad taste. i don't mind though i don't receive my paycheck from primedia.

anyways i'm lovin the cheap jeep buildups they should do more of those.

I'm in agreement.  It is in poor taste to have a spread that looks like a hooker hangin on an ancient fire truck, not even a Jeep.  That kind of smut will always apeal to a certain element as the positive comments on this thread will attest.  Problem is that the people who don't like the kind of smut that borders on soft porn really hate it.  Why has no one complained about the Chicks with Jeeps features?  Because it is done tastefully.
I dislike this enough that if it continues, I won't renew my subscription.  I don't want the people who visit my house to think I buy this trash.  

I'm wondering why hasn't anyone from the mag made a post about this? They aren't even defending themselfs on the hole BRE thing........... interesting don't you think.  

OK, I'm fished in! What's to reply to? Many good points have been made, although some are invalid. Bree stays, at least for now. She's apparently pretty popular.
