The clubs closest to Boulder are the Larimer County 4-Wheelers out of Fort Collins and the Mile-Hi Jeep Club. I don't have firsthand experience with these clubs, they they have excellent reputations. The Mile-Hi group has tons of members from all over.

I've been on a few group rides, I like the Mile-Hi Jeep club, but when I've gone there were quite a few modified jeeps like mine that were there. So you might want to check into them. And welcome back to the States.
