No thats bull. if you remove the factory fender flares, you can trim up to the body line that juts out along the body about 3 inches down from the hood. That line travels across the whole body. so right now i have them trimmed to there with 33s. I am going to get coil spacers and a rear shackle lift and run some monster( for an xj ) 36 inch IROKs. hell ya

Hey, just get the jeep that makes you happy. They can all be cut up, upgraded, modified and towed home. When you walk out of your house in the morning and you’re glad to see it in your yard, it’s the right one for you.

That is the best of all answers. Look around and buy one that you like, no matter what you buy you will have fun with it. Just make sure it's in good shape

Good advice! I think I'll do that... I live here in Florida where there's a lot swamp and I know I'll go off road once I got a Jeep. Most people that go off road here are Big engines or light ride like samurai and sidekick.

wheeling in the the swamps sounds like alot of fun, i would go on the cheap for a jeep, find a yj , there easy to work on , easy to get parts for , just lift it, throw on some 35's and have fun in the mud....

I have a '00 TJ Sport and I've been able to modify it, yes even the interior some and I've enjoy the Sport. Yeah it's not all decked out like the Rubicon but I think that's why I like the Sport, I can upgrade it as I need. I say go for the Sport.

not just because i have a wrangler (tj) id got with a wrangler, whether it be a yj or tj, yjs have leafs and tjs have coils, that is the big difference. tjs are more updated inside and have features anyone likes, if u wanna dog it, leave it in the rain and treat it badly, id get the yj. tjs have better ride. one thing id do for sure is get the 4.0 they have good power and good resale. if i could get a jeep right now other than a rubicon, id get a sport and start from there, rubicons cost a lil too much, and i dont need lockers, if u need lockers and dont wanna upgrade axles get a rubcon. but one other reason id get the wrangler over the zj is i might be wrong and srry if iam and if i am someone tell me the zjs are unibodies. i know xjs are. well thats what i think so if im wrong about anything someone tell me
