As an avid Jeeper myself, with an old 86 CJ-7, my friend told me ~18 months ago that he saw a new Jeep the called a Jeep J-Cruiser.  I told him he must be mistaken as I had never heard of it, and I know pretty much every model and trim package that's been released.  I searched for it on the internet finally settling on the idea that my bud was an idiot and what he probably saw was a Toyota Landcruiser, a 70 something or so.

So... fast forward 6 mos. to today where he says he saw the same Jeep J-Cruiser again over the weekend and this time he got a closer look and said he was positive it was, in fact, a Jeep AND a J-Cruiser. So I search again today on the net and only come up with one hit.  It's where some guy signed this message book.  Here's the link:

Now I tried emailing this guy, but the email address is dead.  So maybe somebody on here knows something about this.  My guess was that maybe it was the new Renegade trim package for the TJ's.  I'm sure you all remember the awful looking silly YJ Wranglers that Chrysler mistakenly released.  (One of the LEAST desireable Jeeps of all-time according to JP Magazine, next to the DJ surrey of course)

It's one of those stupid kits that makes a wrangler look like a hummer.   It's made by LandRunner.  

He's right I found a picture of it at http://stores.ebay.com/JEEP-and-LANDRUNNER-Accessories. One of the tiny little pictures on the left side advertises an accessory for the Landrunner or J Cruiser. It looks like some kind of a silly front end kit that makes the jeep look like a hummer.  

They used to sell like a hummer body for a cj7 in quadratec it was called like a hj7 or some crap like that  

What a sad piece of junk.
