I have a '98 TJ and i bought a 4 inch lift for it, in the instructions it says to get 15x8 wheels and gives the backspacing needed for that.  But, i have seen jeeps with 15x10 wheels and it looks really good but i have also seen them with 15x10s and they stick out too far and look like ####, so my question is does anyone know what the proper backspacing is for a 15x10" wheel on a 98 TJ with a 4" lift???

Would i run into problems with rubbing, such as when making tight turns?  And would it be wise to go less than one inch more?

1 inch over the 8" spec will center the tire in the same spot, only the rim will be further in. In other words 1" more backspace will give the same offset.
