Ok guys its official, im a Jeep-a-holic! I just picked up a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport and i believe it has the chrysler 8.25 rear axle, now i know nothing about these axles so any help would be awesome. Is this axle any good or no? Ive heard different things from different people, also i would like to run the 33's on this one and wondering if that will work out. Thanks for all your help, you guys are great. ( Now the official count of jeep cherokees between me and my dad is 6, ranging from 1989-1996, 120,000 miles to 255,000 and they are all 5 speeds!)

i had an 89 xj 285,000 miles before i removed the still runnnin 4.0 for a new 4.0(they are just tough) mine was an auto. the 8.25 isnt in the ballpark with a 44 maybe way out in deep left but thats it. at 33 you should be ok but i wouldnt go any bigger. you shouldnt have any issues.
