Any help? I was looking for info from anyone who has installed the flex a lite fan on a 2.5L TJ. Did this help boost any engine performance? Is it easy to do? Etc....

if your tj has a factory clutch fan the you will accually loose hp by going to a flex fan if you really wanna free up some HP go electric i have a pusher and a puller on my cj5 the puller is wired to a temp contol unit it comes on at 175 degrees and the pusher is on a manual switch i only turn it on when im on the trail both are wired to 1 kill switch 4 water crossings and theres a big red moron light i installed in the dash right above the steering colum its wired to a relay so the light comes on when the fans dont have power that way i cant forget to turn em back on i felt a noticable seat of the pants difference after installing them but my jeep had a solid fan from the factory if your jeep has a cluch fan you wont feel as much of a difference but it should be noticable expect a .5 to 1.5 mpg increase mabee even 2 mpg if you simply must have a flex fan there pretty easy to change you will need 1 of those cluch fan tool thingies make sure you use the right spacer so the fan sits in the shroud at about the same place that the factory fan did and bolts that are the proper length for the spacer there is on advantage to a flex fan over the factory clutch fan the flex fan doesnt have a clutch to wear out and fail
i hope i helped good luck
