I am building a rig from the ground up and using a Willys Jeep Truck (1950) as the platform. Im thinking of building a tube style frame and would like your advice on what the "PERFECT" wheelbase would be. I would really appreciate any input or advice that can be given, Thank You. sciracer8501@yahoo.com

It really depends on the tire size and the kind of off-roading you plan to do with the truck. There is no magic length really. But here is a breakdown of what I try and run for all around off-roading (unless you plan to run low lifts and really cut fenders): 31-32.......80-90 inches 33s............mid 90 (stock length Wranglers) 35s............high 90s 37..............single digit 100s 38-40........110 or so 42-44........115-120 44 plus.......120 up.
