I will be purchasing a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee . I plan on turning it into a weekend prerunner street legal vehicle. My question is-does anyone suggest a cheap supension set up? I will have $500.00 to spend. All I want is a vehicle to run fast on whoops and washes. If anyone has any suggestions on suspension or any other ideas on how to make the Jeep fly please let me know,

Fabteck's coil spacer lift. They included the shocks for my 2004 TJ.

THis should be in the zj thread.(look for it on this board) Anyways. 500 will get you a 2" budget boost. This consists of 4 2" spring spacers and cheap shocks and new bumpstops. RE has this kit and others make them as well. For a little more money you can get a REAL lift(new springs, controlarms etc.) I have a Tuff Country 3.5" lift and the price is very good. It's a good lift, I am running 31" tires. Also look into rusty's offroad, they have some lifts there for cheap, also I recomend their HD ajustable trackbar and mount. as well as longer front swaybar end links.
