Hi Guys, I need some help. I just ordered a 2007 wrangler and want to purchase new wheels for it. Ive been told the 2006 wranglers have a different bolt pattern, so I need to know the bolt pattern and back spacing for the new '07 and maybe a list of who's making wheels for this jeep already. Thanks, Rick

Check with the dealer that you ordered it from.

I'd guess its the same patern as the other new jeeps.

I wish it were that easy. The dealer has no clue and it the backspacing is different that any previous jeep.

the new 07 plastic jeeps went back to the 5x5 bolt pattern, like the old cj's.dont know about the backspacing though.might have to call a few off-road shops and ask them who have already had the chance to test them.

The JK has a 5-on-5 lug pattern. CJs are 5-on-5.5.

factory JK backspacing is likely in the 4-4.5 inch range.

Check out www.quadratec.com under Jeep Wheels and then Alloy Wheels.  They have several wheels there for the JK.

Ok, Ive bought the jeep and I can tell you this is what worked for me. 17"x8" american racing rims with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern and a 25mm offset, this allowed me to mount 285/70/17 cooper stt mud tires (33"s) without a lift or without sticking out past the wheel well and with no rubbing. I did however have to remove the factory from air dam mounted under the front bumper. This piece is there only to aid in areodynamics and pops off easy as it is just held on by a few plastic clips.

The backspacing off my 18's was 5.75".

I replaced them with a nice set of Helo 791 blacks with 315/75 r16 tera grapplers. on a 3.25 rusty's lift

whatever you do the tires will not stick out the same on each side thats the case with all the new jk's the body is offset from the chassis. Has anyone else noticed this

Jeepinoutwest: I am in the same boat as you, new 07 Jeep and wanting the biggest tires without lifting it.  Sounds like you accomplished getting it with 33's.... every 4x4 shop and dealer i have talked to here is telling me that is not possible without Rubbing...  Do you have a picture of your Jeep you can post????
