You get what you pay for in a lift kit so personally I would go with the rubicon express long arm kit. But If I had to choose between the pro comp or the superlift I would go with the superlift but there isn't all that much difference in the two.
Which ever lift you chose it would be smart to install a slip yoke eliminator and a cv drive shaft. These will run you about 700$ for both. You also should regear your axles. I recomend 4:88s, assuming you are going to run 33-35' tires. Lockers are a plus and its best to install them with your gears.
I'm not sure what kind of wheeling you plan on doing, your budget or how into Jeeps you really are but I will tell you that it is addicting. I bought my first jeep 5 years ago and was dieing to lift it up and wheel the piss out of it. I bought the cheap stuff and lived to regret it. If I were to do it all over I would hold out for the good stuff. Rubicon express lift, 4 to 1 transfer case gears, dana 44 rear axle, 4:88 gears, detroit and arb lockers and do it all at the same time.
If you are just a guy looking to get started and you don't have that much cash to buy the good stuff then just buy the cheap stuff and have fun with it. Either way you are going in the right direction and you are going to have a blast.
Peace.........JB

Most ppl donot need a long arm kit unless you are crawling with it. Price is not always the factor. I have a 3.5 inch Tuff Country lift and my friend has a 3" Skyjacker. He paid 1100 for his and I paid 750(inclueds 158 shipping) My parts are bigger(control arms) and stronger looking. So shop around.

I'd also go with Rubico Express. They offer a 3.5" and a 4.5" short arm kit that would be good. One of the good things about RE is that if you think you want a long arm kit later on they sell a add-on that turns the short arm kit into a long arm. So you can kind of buy half now (the short arm) and if you need it later you can buy the other half (long arm kit up-grade). RE makes some super tuff products to. Their kits also come with extended brake lines which the other companies leave out and a 1" drop spacer for your transfer case, if you're going for a 4" lift you'll need both of them.

Yeah, I have an idea... Change out the engine!!
JUST KIDDING!!
Exporer Pro Comp is stiff as hell.
Rough Country will do it the cheapest and have the most parts. ALso 4wd Hardware has a complete kit for short money.
Good luck.
