Sorry everyone, I love a wrangler as much as the next guy, but I want to hear about the ZJs around.  I don't see alot of lifted ones so if you have a pic, send it over.  Tell about it, give people Ideas.  Its not a "wose ride is better" forum.  Just info and tips on buliding different types of ZJs.

I have a 1997 Jeep Grandcherokee Limited.  I have the 5.2L with custom intake and DMH exhaust.  I am in the process of removing pinstripe and have debadged the truck.  Clear corners are on for the different look.  I have custom wired back up lights welded on the hitch.  I in the process of building a custom roof rack/tire carrier, just too lazy to grind the welds and paint it.

The interior is black and I have put white face guages with blue led backlighting (pics to come).  I have blue neons on the interior.  Granted they are ricer but the girls love 'em.  I have a small system just for an extra boost.

I want a 3 inch lift with 31 inch tires.  Probably Goodyear MTR or something similar.  I think i will have the rims powdercoated black.  I also want a front bullbar and will put KCs on them.  The rack will have KCs front and back.  I will also probably get a moonvisor on the roof to add a bit of meaness to her.

Take a look at all my pics here: Li'l Jeep's ZJ

Thanks for stopping by and I hope ya'll stay interested.

Ya we need more ZJ's to get the word out. Sounds like you know what you want anyways. But NEONS!!!!! man that's so lame! not even ricers will do that around here LOL To each their own I guess.

I'd stick the backups on the roofrack, not the hitch. could get ripped off at the bottom of a hill

yeah that though came to mind...but i figured they would be okay for the amount and type of off-roading i do now...but they are welded on pretty good...besides i am putting off-road KC HiLites on the back of the roofrack...after that those rear backups will be obsolete lol

I think the reason ppl donot buy and custom more grands because of dumb reasons like the top doesn't come off............who cares!! Like I want to sit out in the hot sun beating down on me and ruining my interior!!

I had a T TOP trans am and #### it was hell with the sun ........

yeah...i mean i never had a convertable ride, but my brother had a YJ...with the top of it was okay but i could help feel like i was riding in a death wagon...LoL

besides we have the cadillac of jeeps, the nicest interior on jeeps as far as comfort goes...who wouldn;t want the flexibility of an off-road vehicle and safety and comfort of a SUV...

i am still jealous of all owners of 98s with the 5.9 LoL...you have any pics or ure truck?

Yes go to the post pic of your jeep thread it's there. I'm calling a mechanic today about getting my lift on. I'll have pics as soon as it's done.

Ya But at least we are different. I think it's dumb to build something the same as everyone else.

yeah i know...its just more of a thing where A. my dad doesn;t want me spending money for much on that and B. i need to truck to drive up and doen wo skool, so i feel putting anylift and tired will kill my already bad gas mileage...

but i might do that with a 3" lift, would that work?  and eith put 31s or something bigger that would fit?

Groo what kind of jeep you got?   Thanks for the advice
