I have three axle housings in my garage. They are part of a group of Jeep parts I acquired. My guess is they are old Jeep parts. Any help with I.D. would be appreciated.
Axle 1: 51 1\2" wide. Spring under axle. Upper right on hogshead #C31877-1. Lower right # 27-A.
Axle 2: 57" wide. Spring over axle. Upper right #2A 030147. Lower right# A45.
Axle 3: 57 7\16" wide. Spring under axle. Upper right #C-80294. Lower right # 44-1.
I think I have an old CJ front axle (with Kaiser/Jeep parts tag) and a couple of old Willy's axles? Any ideas? Thanks

Here's a link for you that you might find very helpful.

Axle #1 Dana 27 Front axle is my best guess
The other 2 I'm not sure because the lengths don't match up to what is listed on the website, keep in mind those listed on that site are only Jeep axles.
Good luck in figuring out those axles, you should be able to figure it out with that website. Post here if you figure it out.
