I have a lifted 2001 jeep wrangler, it started making a whisling noise that would stop when the clutch went in.  took it in and had the fluids changed still making the noise what could be the problem and is it fixable without pulling the transmission out. this noise continues in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears.

someone please give me advise

if it is making the noise when the clutch is depressed i would have to say throw out bearing but if it is making the noise all the time when clutch is engaged somethings wrong internally... and pulling those trans's out is a matter of an hour if u have a hoist
