Will Aisin-Warner AX15 fit 1987 Comanche 4.0 4x4

Hey All,
Have an 87 Comanche with a shot Peugeot BA 10/5. I'm wondering if this can be replaced with an Aisin-Warner AX15 and if so, whether or not mods are needed? Definitely looking forward to any and all replies. Thanks XJ Freak in MN

did a little checking should fit as as you have inline 6 cylinder if you are going from a six to four will be differnt i have a peugeot 10/5 in 87 wrangler with i-6 will be upgrading to ax15 did very little reaserch on the i-4 if i am wrong some one feel free to chime in good luck

It's pretty much a bolt in swap if you have the six-cylinder.
For anyone with a four-cylinder and an AX5 manual you can swap to the six-cylinder AX15 using parts from Advance Adapters HERE.
