Hey guys,

I am doing some substantial upgrading to my YJ this winter, and I found this axle on my local craigslist, which is priced very reasonably. It is a complete rear Dana 44 out of a 97 Grand Cherokee, 3.73 gears (which is the gearing I currently have).

Now my question is, will this rear end be a direct swap for my Dana 35? Width really isn't an issue with me, I'm just more concerned with mounting. My guess is loads of fabricating...

My Wrangler is primarily a tar puppy, so I am only going to do this one axle until something similar comes along for the front.

Thanks for any input!
