I have a "94 XJ w/200,000 mi on the clock and a 4.0.  This is my first jeep and I am trying to get the engine temp down (runs at about 239-240 deg.  under load or long traffic trips) the water pump has 60,000 mi on it and I just replaced the thermostat, and am going to flush system soon.  Now that the weather is cooling  off in Vegas I want to take it out but am concerned about the hi temp.  ANY sugestions would be aprecated.

Flushing it is a good start.

Also make sure your radiator isn't clogged with dirt/mud from previous wheeling trips.
