Both Evans Creek and Elbe Hills have some pretty challenging trails. I would only recommend short wheel base rigs on most of their trails and you would probably need at least M/T 33's and have some kind of lockers or winch to tackle Elbe Hills. Expect some minor body damage from both areas as they are pretty tight and off camber. I also heard Rieter Pit is pretty good although I personally have never been there. You can put these as a search on youtube and see example vids of all three areas. The pic of my Jeep is from one of the trails at Evens Creek that starts out having to get up about a 40 foot wet rock face. The PNW4WDA web site has a pretty good list of trails with ratings, you can find their web site at the following link: http://www.pnw4wda.org/trails/washington/index.htm. We are planning on heading up to Evans Creek the Sunday after Halloween if you want to tag along.

You guys know of anything near Port Angeles that's open? Plenty of motorcycle trails but not a lot of Jeep and 4x4 stuff.
That map link is helpful! Thanks!
HERE it is again.

There will be 30+ miles of 4x4 trails opening in the Yacolt Burn area just outside of Vancouver Wa. Thanks to the president of a local four wheel drive club, "Pistons Wild". She almost single handedly worked with local DNR to get this area aprooved for 4wheel drive useage. There is alot of work ahead, trail building, working with DNR, but it will be well worth it, premium wheeling in our back yard ! I want to publicly thank her for getting this project started ! See, One person can make a differance ! Get involved, do something, dont just stand there, pitch in and help ! OK, I'm done, I'll pass the soap box off to the next wheeler.
America will NEVER forget !
Less talk, ... More wheeling
