Trying to find answers in forums, still browsing. Wife wants 4 door so its a bit easier to load the kids in. This if bought will be the secondary car for the kids not the primary. I have seen some reviews that its not supoer comfy so no worries we have a trailblazer EXT for the main car which rides real nice.
1. is it fun to ride with no top? 2. can you take the doors off 3. can you take the windshield off to really get the wind in your face feel?
thanks all!

1: Yes, but you will likely need a buddy to help get the top off. 2: Yes 3: Yes, but not legally for street use, and it's a lot of bolts to do that.

As an owner of a 2007 4-door wrangler, maybe I can give you my thoughts ;P
1.yes- the soft top is easy enough take down and put up, but it doesn't store that well. Can't talk about the hard top.
2. yes- and Jeep improved over the TJ by using smart plugs; whe you unplug the wiring, it tells the computer not to turn on the dome light. It's really nice.
3. I'm sure you can, but I'd not recomend it. With the top down and doors off, you get pleanty of airflow.
Hope it helps!

I like the 4 door, wife not a big fan of the 2 door but might be able to convince her into a 4 door. Found a good # of them under $20k ... we'll see, thanks!!!
