i am in the middle of changing out the steering column in one of my j 10 pickups and am trying to find out what i have to change on a tilt auto column to make it work in a standard truck.Any help would be great thanks.

Pretty much the main thing is putting the shifter mechanism into Neutral or Park before cutting the arm off or removing it. If you don't the Jeep won't start.
