I looked and could not find any answers to this so if it is a repeat I appoligize now.
I am returning from Iraq in a few weeks and plan to lift my 1986 CJ7. I am looking to go with a 4" lift and 33 X 12.50 BFG MTs. I have been looking around and have not been able to get to many answers on the quality of Rough Country Lift Kits, but they do have a nice price. My CJ7 has a Ford 5.0L 302 V8 so it is a little heavy in the front end. Does anyone have any advice on Lift Kits, which to use. I Have done about a half dozen coil spring and leaf spring lifts , but this is the first CJ lift with a swapped engine.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You will get mixed opinions on the RC lifts. I own and operate a small 4x4 shop in Wyoming and we sell basically 2 brands of lifts. Rough Country and BDS. We sell the RC stuff to people wanting a better price and BDS for those wanting better quality.
Having installed several RC lifts on CJ's I can tell you they are fairly stiff, and do not flex a whole lot, but the kit is more than reasonably priced and still agreat value in my opinion.
The nice thing about BDS is they warrant the kit for life. So does RC but BDS is the only manufacturer I know of that warrants ride height.
Rubicon Express makes excellent lifts for the CJ but the price is considerably more than RC, however the kits come with more components.
If you get the RC kit you WILL NEED longer front brake lines, trust me.
