So, who has installed a Diesel(Small, like  2 or 3 liter) in any of the Jeeps above? I've seen the Cummins 4-cylinder installed, but that is just a smidgeon more than I'm thinking. If you have, what motor and transmission?
Just curious, like to here from anyone.
Thanks

never swapped in a small engine like your talking about, but i have swapped in a chevy 6.2L into a jeep, need a add-a-leaf for the extra weight, but any chevy 350 conversion kit will work to adapt it to your stock transmission. they are very simple to wire in with only two wires. one for the starter, and one for the pump. and will take you jeep up to around 27 mpg, slightly less if you beat on it (23-25)
