Hey guys
I recently swapped a limited slip ford 8.8 into my 97 TJ. I put a solid diff cover which allows for more fluid capacity. My question is should I fill it to the plug or only add 2.9 quarts which is what the rear calls for. I'm hesitant only because I have been told the fluid quantity can affect the clutches in the LSD rear. Thanks for your help!

That is not true. The fluid quantity has no affect on how the Ford TracLoc diff works.

Fill it to the hole. And be sure to add the Ford Friction Modifier if your oil of choice doesn't already have some in it.
