Will Jeep last?

I'm interested in buying a new Wrangler, which I find very appealing, but I'm concerned as to whether the Jeep brand will last. Does anyone know anything useful about Jeep's financial situation, prospect, etc.? Am I bound to end up with a beautiful car with no service or spare parts?

I have no idea about the future, however all the previous models you can pretty much build up from nothing through the aftermarket. From the early cj years to the yj.  The tj has a mass amount of products available as well but the newest tj is only 3 years old.  I hope this helps you.

The Jeep brand is extremely strong and profitable. Not likely to go under. Sold to someone else maybe (but i doubt it). So as far as your concerns of Jeep falling off the planet...not likely.

the wranglers are very popular, finding parts will NEVER be a problem. You can still easaly find parts for jeeps made in the 40's and 50's. then jeep wasnt even a brand, its just what people called a modle made by willys.

Funny thing is a new flatfender Jeep (MB, GPW, CJ-2A, CJ-3A) hasn't rolled off an assembly line in over 50 years, yet I can pretty much build a brand new one with mail order parts.

I have always dreamed of building my own cj7 or 5 from mail order parts. I could have the coolest clasic jeep ever made and it would be brand new.
