That sounds cool, with all the issues with a XJ steering and driveline after lifting, for me I was thinking with the one I had of taking some ideas from jeep speed and from other extreme builds I see with unibody vehicles ( one even comes from a fox body mustang build for drag racing ) and basicially build a solid frame into the chassis to allow for me to change the rear suspension, moving the rear axle back a few inches. I was going to remove the back seat and replace it with a yj rear seat. It being a much smaller back seat would allow for me to make up some bigger wheel tubes ( same idea that they did on the " No Lift YJ " ) to fit bigger tires. The other thing I wanted to do back there was run the longest leaf pack I could stuff under there, maybe 88-98 chev. 1/2ton leafs with some custom shock mounts to get some longer shocks in. Than I was planning to do something like the " No Lift TJ " up front with the longer trailing arms and reinfored mounts and cut and flare the fender. Next, build some body armour (skid plates, rocker guard, etc.) and start wheeling. But, as we all know need a place to work on such project and I had to move from the place where I had room to do the work and couldn't keep the jeep. Oh well, try again next time.
