how do you do the transfer drop on a jeep cherokee sport and if i get a 3.5 do i have to get brake extenders or can i let that go   what should i get with a 3.5 inch lift

I do not think you will need to drop the transfer case on a 3.5 lift if you get a longer driveshaft. you should go ahead and get an sye kit if your going to off-road it and drive on the road ! droping the case puts stress on motor mounts and miss-alighns engine-trans,shift linkage,etc! Also loss of center clearince! zen4x4pirate.
